I am quite surprised that Telstra came out on a Saturday to fix it, but very glad. iiNet were great and I am impressed that a call at 6pm last night resulted in it being fixed within 24 hours.
We had got up early this morning to go vote. I was quite surprised how quick it was given my experiences voting when in Sydney. We were in and out in under 5 minutes and we didn't get harassed with how to vote cards, it was AWESOME! Plus we got a lovely marble cake that was made with fresh raspberries at the cake stall.
After that we mowed the lawn. I mean we... I had a go before James did the second mow (it was that long it took two goes to get it cut short enough.) It was the first time I ever mowed a lawn :) After that I weeded the garden and put garden lights in! Stage 1 Christmas decorations complete!

I can't wait for the foam ring I've ordered to arrive so that I can make our Christmas wreath. I'm counting down until it's an acceptable time to put up the tree. I really want to see my beautiful new black Christmas tree with it's hot pink, lime green and royal blue decorations. Here is a sneak peek of my wrapping colour scheme... gloss black paper with lime, royal blue and pink pearl belli bands and coordinating cord :)
